In Manic Medic you are the ambulance driver and have to get to the scene of the accident in time. To do this you have to drive all the way across town within the time limit and avoid getting into an accident yourself.
Manic medic is viewed from above, which makes the town look like a map, while using the arrow keys to control the ambulance you can direct it to the location where the accident has happened.
This sounds much easier than it actually is, because controlling the ambulance will prove to be a challenge and will take some getting used to. Add to this the time limit you have to arrive at the scene of the accident, and the fact that your ambulance is not invulnerable and prone to accidents, and you have the recipe for a fast paced action game that is challenging and lots of fun to play!
Manic Medic is not the first of its kind, but certainly one of the best. The game adds elements of the old GTA games, as far as game play goes, and arriving at the scene of the accident definitely presents a challenge.
